Pause Mode Enabling Blueprint designing, placing or construction planning#59

I’ve been preparing for relentless mode with a bunch of blueprints I feel are absolutely necessary to begin my tryharding, but find that the draw to play the game is less when I know it’s going to mean drafting up blueprint after blueprint with little in between.

Yet I feel that I cannot afford to do this in the Relentless Mode as I would be constantly under attack and on a time limit until my resources run out. What to do?

I can of course just toughen up and finish them off, but if we want to look at it from a game design view maybe it would be better if you could essentially pause the game while planning out a construction so that you never got stuck having to make loads of blueprints all at once because you know you won’t have time while playing a harder difficulty.

Creative mode is a thing, but how fun is it to switch around to another game with 1-2 minutes of loading screen between here and there?

Versus simply pausing the entire world, save your ability to place ghost blueprints - or to go into a separate window where you take your time to design in peace?

You do have a choice to use “SetEnemyAttackFrequency 0” in Console and then set to 200 when you finish building whatever. This does not stop acheivements and allows you that extra time to work. This is not a cheat, as far as the game is concerened.

It would however absolutely feel like a cheat - and isn’t much more convenient than loading a creative mode save.

i aswell am not really a fan of using console commands in a legit playthrough. so its not a bad idea
